SHOTS has successfully taught several thousand of American Citizens to carry a concealed firearm in Arizona lawfully since 1994. Prospective students should know that the current course curriculum offered by Arizona CCW Training Programs through the Arizona Concealed Carry Unit within the Arizona Department of Public Safety is not as comprehensive as it once was. In 2005, the program was changed to a “Gun Safety Course”. It is a wonderful Gun Safety Course but it strictly prohibits any and all defensive tactics, even a simple draw stroke, to be included. SHOTS feels strongly that the omission of the tactics and techniques portion of a CCW holders education may result in a hazardous situation to the CCW holder and any others surrounding them.

Letter from the Owner

Friends,

“I have taught thousands of CCW students in Arizona since 1994. It has become evident to me that many students require more training than the basic safety training currently offered under the Arizona Department of Public Safety Training Guidelines currently taught within the Arizona CCW qualification course..
With that goal in mind, SHOTS Ranch has created a course of study directed at enhancing the knowledge, skills and personal abilities of the concealed weapons carrier. I highly recommend this course for all who carry a sidearm.
You should consider enrolling before you take a CCW Course or after you have already taken a CCW Course and already have your permit; (Students need not to have taken a CCW Course from SHOTS Ranch to attend this Seminar) The seminar has proven to be invaluable to those that have attended! Many students have chosen to attend this seminar several times to sharpen their defensive skills.”
